Christmas is almost upon us

Hi all well i haven't blogged in awhile and its all down to the fact that i'm pregnant. I wasn't feeling to great at the beginning but everything touch wood seems to have settled.
I recently purchased a LOTV James Bear christmas stamp at the christmas fair at the SECC at the end of October and this is me just getting round to using it. It is just fab - i love it.

I made this card for my OH's christmas and i think it is just adorable. I coloured the image with promarkers and used various backing papers from scrapbooking mad or card making downloads not sure which was which to be honest. Sentiment generated on the pc. I liked the card so much i made another for my mum & dad but used a different layout

What do you think?

Cheeky!

I had lost my mojo for a bit there, but as my BIL's birthday loomed i had to get to work. I decided to go back to some digital downloads for this card.
The topper and backing paper are from Ammie Sanders website craftydesignz, she is also a designer on the CUP website.
Grey metalic card and silver mirror board from my stash as well as the black ribbon.
The sentiment is just computer generated.
Hope he likes it and its not too cheeky lol

Well it was recently my first anniversary and i had to make my hubby a card.
I saw this freebie over on the pollycraft website and thought it would go well. I coloured the image in with promarkers and matted and layered it with blue card. The backing papers i think i got from cardmaking downloads website. Hope you like it as much as my hubby did.

Well i haven't been on in ages, busy busy.
I bought the recent issue of simply cards and papercraft and got these lovely free nitwit collections backing papers with the issue that i just have to try.
I also had recently bought the sugar nellie daisy stamp and thought this would go perfectly. I attached the image to a scalloped framed before mounting to the card.
Image coloured with pro-markers getting better gradually i think.
Hope you all like it.

Saturday 20 February 2010

Today is a first for me in two ways - I made my first ever card using a stamped image and i'm entering it in to my first challenge.
The card is made from a daisy may friday freebie which i coloured in with promarkers. I used coordinating backing papers to layer it up and for the backing. One was punched with the fiskars scalloped lace border punch. I made two flowers from the backing papers also and topped with a little flower gem.
How you like.

This is entered in the CuteDaisyMay Challenge.

This card was made using the popcorn bear romance cd-rom from crafters companion similar to the format they give on the cd as one of their projects. I used gold holographic card, red ribbon and a printed pyramage sheet from the cd. Very quick and easy to do.
Hope you all like it.
I'm still trying to find my way around this site, not as easy as i thought it would be.
